Cockroaches
Blatella
Germanica
The bane of
the food industry. The German Cockroach is
the most common in the UK today and also one of
the most loathed of all insects. The risk
to the food industry is highlighted by their
spread of Salmonella in food production
organisations. As a health risk
Cockroaches are by far the most unpleasant of

Cockroaches
carry their young around in an egg sack,
which the females deposit in a safe area ready
for the young to hatch out and feed and
eventually make more young. They are
identified by the two black stripes which run
parallel to each other down the thorax of the
Cockroach, a Cockroach is instantly identifiable
by its long protruding antennae at the front.
If you have seen one it is guaranteed you have
many more, you just haven't seen them yet.
